Vinh Long, which translates as "Majestic Dragon", is located right in the middle
of the delta, between the two arms of the Mekong. Vinh Long's soil is enriched
with silt deposits, making it ideal for growing tangerines and other citrus fruits.
Life is organized around water. Houses on stilts, peddlers on boats, hundreds of
small boats crossed in all directions. The hospitality of the locals makes it a tourist
destination par excellence.

Day 3 Sa Dec - Chau Doc

06:00 Breakfast.

07:00 Sa Dec - Short panoramic tour and transfer to Trung Vuong Primary
School. Continuing to Kien An Cung Pagoda. Stroll through the Sa Dec
market along the bank of the Sa Dec River. This small town of 30,000
inhabitants is fascinating in its unspoiled authenticity and undisturbed by
tourists. It provides a glimpse of the delta where some colonial houses still
remain, including the "Chinese house" (from the novel by Duras The Lover,
also transformed into a film).

09:00 Passengers board again; Toum Tiou departs Sa Dec for Chau Doc, lunch and free time on board.

16:00 Arrival in Chau Doc. Departure for fish breeding rafts. If time permits,
watch the sunset on Mount Sam reaching 237 meters. Its famous Buddhist
shrines offer an unobstructed view of the mosaic of glittering rice fields below.
On the left is Cambodia, the flow of the Mekong on the horizon breaks into an
infinity of silver ribbons. Visit on the way of Temple Lady Chua Xu e Tay An
Pagoda.

19:30 Return on board, dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Vinh Xuong - Phnom Penh
Toum Tiou leaves early in the morning for Vinh Xuong (Vietnamese border).
Breakfast while sailing.
08:00 Arrival at Vinh Xuong checkpoint - Customs clearance of formalities for
Toum Tiou to cross the border.

10:30 am Toum Tiou leaves Vinh Xuong checkpoint for Phnom Penh.
Lunch while sailing.
17:00 Arrival in Phnom Penh. Passengers free to enjoy the evening in the
Cambodian capital.

Dinner and overnight on board.
