Description:
You will be picked up from your hotel for a chauffeured transfer to the Royal Palace, where you will meet
the Italian-speaking guide and other participants. The visit of the majestic and amazing Royal Palace will
begin with Wat Phra Kaew, the "Temple of the Emerald Buddha". The Royal Palace also includes the Chakri
Palace (which can only be visited from the outside), the Dusit Palace and the Montien Palace, the latter
which can only be visited inside at certain times. At about 4:30 pm the visits will end and return to the hotel.

Highlights:
The Royal Palace is one of Bangkok's jewels: a complex of buildings, pavilions, gardens and temples in the
heart of the city, the official residence of the King until 1925. It was built in 1782 when King Rama I moved
the capital from Thonburi, on the opposite bank. of the river, to present day Bangkok. The Temple of the
Emerald Buddha is one of the best known and most visited within the Royal Palace complex, and the most
important temple in Thailand. Its architecture is similar to that of Ayutthaya's buildings and temples, in a
classical style.
