Malaysia
Malaysia is a multicultural environment with Malaysian, Chinese and Indian influences
and is made up of two areas separated by the ocean: Peninsular Malaysia, the one bor-
dering Thailand and East Malaysia, or the northern part of the island of Borneo.
Malaysia is a concentrate of what is east: Buddhist and Hindu temples, damask mo-
sques, colorful Chinese neighborhoods, sunsets that set the sky on fire and outline the
profile of distant islands, forests, wild jungles and religious festivals that continually
enliven the streets .
After a visit to the capital Kuala Lumpur with its majestic and futuristic skyline domina-
ted by the Petronas Twin Towers, the itineraries lead to paradisiacal beaches with tur-
quoise waters where you can relax, snorkel and dive: Pulau Perenthian, Pulau Sipadan,
Pulau Langkawi and Cameron Highlands are just some of the locations that will be the
backdrop for your holidays.
Lovers of trekking and nature will find themselves walking through jungles, forests and
paths that overlook waterfalls and film views and will be able to see many animal spe-
cies in their habitat such as orangutans, birds, reptiles and the almost extinct lorises
that are part of the lemur family.
