Itinerary:

Day 1 - Luang Prabang.
Once you arrive you will be welcomed and accompanied to your hotel. Overnight.

Optional:
In the late afternoon you will be accompanied to a local house to take part in the Basi ceremony. The Basi
is a very ancient rite that derives from animism and which is celebrated to drive out evil spirits and propitiate
fortune is often held by village chiefs or by true shamans.

Day 2 - Luang Prabang – Half day City Tour & Escursione sul Mekong
This morning, immediately after breakfast, you will begin the city tour with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum
where you will immerse yourself in the daily life of the last royal families
who ruled Laos before the Phatet Lao took power. Then you will visit the
magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its particular roof which is an example
of the classic Laotian architecture. In the morning you will also visit the
beautiful Wat Mai and the stupa of Wat Visoun. After lunch you will board
a boat for an excursion on the Mekong River in the direction of the Pak Ou
Caves, that is two communicating caves between them holding thousands
of golden statues, of various shapes and sizes, representing the Buddha
left here by the pilgrims on pilgrimage. Along the way back we will stop at
the village of Ban Muangkeo, famous for its textile work and the production of rice whiskey.

Optional: Bowls game and dinnesr in local restourant . $. 35 for person
In Laos it is called Petanque, it is in practice the game of bowls very popular
among the Laotians, it represents a unique and fun way to get in touch with
the local population in an authentic and fun way. After a few games and having
consumed some beer together with the locals we will go to a local restaurant
"SinDat" more commonly a BBQ lao very popular with the locals in an area
outside the tourist circuit.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Rice experience – Kuang waterfalls
You will have a new appreciation for laughter and admiration for the people
of Laos who until today continue to harvest rice without modern machinery.
In the afternoon you will go to the spectacular and famous Khuang Si
waterfalls where you can cool off with a leisurely swim in one of the many
natural pools of crystal clear water or take a walk along the paths of the forest
surrounding the waterfalls. Near the waterfall it is also possible to visit the
Bear Rescue Center or an organization that protects a particular Asian bear.
Before returning to the city you will stop at the Butterfly Park where you can admire splendid specimens of
butterflies.

Option: Sunset on the Mekong boat
In the late afternoon you will be accompanied to the embarkation point and on board a comfortable traditional
boat you will be able to witness a wonderful sunset while the Mekong slowly transports you with its light
current. On board you can enjoy some snacks and a glass of wine. You will return to the city early in the
evening.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
