Laos Luan Prabang - Vientiane

Itinerary:

Day 1 - Vientiane.
Once you arrive you will be welcomed and accompanied to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 2 - Luang Prabang – Half day City Tour & Excursions to Mekong.
This morning, immediately after breakfast, you will start the tour of the city starting from its oldest temple,
Wat Sisaket with its thousands of miniature statuettes depicting the
Buddha and what was once the royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which once
held the famous image of the Emerald Buddha. You will also visit one of
the precious cultural heritages of Laos or the famous and sacred That
Luang Stupa, continuing then to the imposing Patuxay Monument, also
known as the Arc de Triomphe. The next visit will take you to COPE, a
rehabilitation center for victims of unexploded bombs, launched into a vast
territory in Laos during the Vietnam War. Today this is one of the biggest
problems facing Laos. The last visit will be to the Buddha Park which is
about 30 minutes from the city located on the banks of the Mekong river,
where you can admire a very interesting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures. The day ends with a
splendid sunset on the banks of the Mekong.

You will leave at 6 pm and explore the city with the lights of the night;
aboard a typical Tuk Tuk (local transport) you will visit the night market near
That Luang. Together with the guide you will turn the market and learn the
Lao folk dishes and their own ingredients, typical products and the costs
they have. Then you will be accompanied to a traditional restaurant
"SinDat" or more commonly lao BBQ where you can taste some typical
dishes and stay in contact with the locals. After this fantastic night
experience you will be taken to the hotel.
Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 3 - Vientiane – Luang Prabang City tour.
This morning immediately after breakfast you will be transferred to Vientiane airport where you will board
the flight to Luang Prabang. Once you arrive, you will be met and escorted
to your hotel. Immediately afterwards you will begin the city tour with a visit
to the Royal Palace Museum, where you will immerse yourself in the daily
life of the last royal families who ruled Laos before the Phatet Lao took
power. After the Royal Palace it will be the turn of the Huan Chuan
Heritage House where you can admire the architectural charm of this
building and learn the historical connections in common with the royal
palace. Afterwards we will visit the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its
particular roof which is an example of the classic Laotian
architecture.Today you will also visit the beautiful Wat Mai and stupa of Wat Visoun, immediately after you
will go to the Arts and Ethnology Center to better understand which ethnic minorities live in Laos and what
their customs and traditions are. In the afternoon you will explore the village of Ban Xienglek famous for
their excellent textile work with the possibility of buying some artifacts. To round off the day you will climb to
the top of Mount Phousi for a pleasant exploration of the secrets of the golden stupa and to enjoy the
