Laos Luang Prabang – Van Vieng Vientiane

Itinerary:

Day 1 - Vientiane.
Once you arrive you will be welcomed and accompanied to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 2 - Luang Prabang – Half day City Tour & Excursion at Mekong.
This morning, immediately after breakfast, you will begin the tour of the
city starting from its oldest temple, Wat Sisaket with its thousands of
miniature statuettes depicting the Buddha and what was once the royal
temple of Wat Prakeo, which once housed the famous image of the
Emerald Buddha. You will also visit one of the precious cultural heritages
of Laos or the famous and sacred That Luang Stupa, continuing then to
the imposing Patuxay Monument, also known as the Arc de Triomphe. In
the afternoon transfer to the town of Vang Vieng about 4 hours from the
capital Overnight in Vang Vieng.

Day 3 - Vang Vieng - Tour of Vang Vieng by bicycle.
After breakfast, you will climb on your mountain bike and begin the hike, the flat road passes through the
karst hills offering a unique and wonderful landscape, always along the
way there will be various opportunities to stop one of these will be a village
of weaving called Tai Dam. After about 1 hour of travel, we arrive at the
beautiful blue lagoon, where you can take a dip in its cool and refreshing
waters. There is also the possibility of climbing to the Tham Phoukham
Cave, which boasts a vast cave and imposing stalagmites. We then
continue with the private vehicle to return to Vang Vieng and an organic
farm, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch overlooking the Nam Song
river.

Optional: Hot air balloon trip ($ 150 per person - recommended from October to April)
In mid-afternoon you will be escorted to the take-off point in the beautiful
Nathong valley which is surrounded by spectacular hills covered with
dense vegetation. You will meet your pilot for a safety briefing. After having
carried out all the departure procedures, you will take off and enjoy a
wonderful hot-air balloon flight while admiring the surrounding landscape
and the sun slowly descending behind the hills. After a flight of about 45
min, the pilot will lead the balloon to a gentle landing where the
experienced crew will be waiting to complete the celebration, a flight
certificate will be given to you and a glass of sparkling wine will be offered.

Note: For safety reasons, the balloon flight takes place only in optimal weather conditions; if you cannot
fly, the entire amount will be refunded.
