Departure from Bangkok and Return to Bangkok
The River Kwai, in the area of Saiyok, province of Kanchanaburi, has
become popular thanks to the homonymous film about the imprisonment
of the Allies forced by the Japanese to build the railway, known as the
"Death Railway". The railway was supposed to connect the Thailand and
Myanmar. The province of Kanchanaburi compensates the sad memories
of war and imprisonment with the infinite beauty of tropical nature and
wildlife along the River Kwai, museums about the Second World War,
waterfalls and jungle activities and idyllic accommodations to experience
romantic adventures

Day 1: (Breakfast and lunch included).
After breakfast, meeting with the guide and start of the tour. The first stop is the famous Damnern
Saduak Floating Market. On board of a typical motor boat you will go
along the exotic local channels to reach the famous and picturesque
market. Along the end the beautiful wooden boats form an intricate tangle
in which the vendors juggle to offer visitors the products of local cuisine
and crafts. Visit of the busy market before continuing to the wild mountains
of the region to the Wat Tham Suea, the " Tiger Cave Temple", a
spectacular complex on top of a hill (reachable by feet or with a
comfortable funicular). You can join the pilgrims who offer incense and
lotus flowers and admire the splendid view of the surrounding countryside.
Visit of the famous cave and continue to the nearby Kanchanaburi. Lunch in the most beautiful restaurant of
the city with a magnificent view of the "River Kwai Bridge" and the mountains that mark the natural border
between Thailand and Myanmar. The border represented the scene of bloody fighting during the Second
World War. After lunch you will visit the famous bridge and the
characteristic city market. Afterwards continue towards the Burmese
border along a steep mountain path that crosses the dense tropical
forest to reach a fascinating eco-resort surrounded by nature on the
banks of the River Kwai and with a spectaculatr view over the jungle-
covered mountains - the Home Phutoey Hot Spring & Nature Resort
(accommodation in deluxe rooms). Rest of the afternoon free at
disposal i.e. to swim in the resort's pool, located in an enchanted
landscape.
Dinner at free disposal and overnight stay in the eco-resort.

Day 2 - (Breakfast and lunch included).
Breakfast in hotel and check out. Transfer (only with driver, appr. 25
min.) by car to the Sai Yok Yai National Park. (The guide will accompany
the participants who will choose the motor boat cruise to go to the park).
Meeting with the guide and visit of the National Park. You will sail on a large
private wooden raft on the river within the National Park. Lunch on board,
while the raft will be moored near of the small waterfalls of the River Kwai. You
will also have the opportunity to take a shower under the waterfall... don´t
